Welcome to Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital city that's changing its face with the times! You'll meet your friendly guide from Ceylon Serenity Tours upon arrival and head out for a city tour and shopping spree. From modern skyscrapers to charming old buildings, Colombo has it all. You'll explore the Pettah bazaar, visit a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, see stately homes, check out the Colombo museum, and more! There's so much to see and do in this exciting city. After a day full of adventure, dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Colombo will be the perfect end to your day.

Get ready for an adventurous day exploring the wonders of Sri Lanka! On Day 2, you'll visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage, where you can see baby elephants being fed and bathed. Next up is the highlight of the day - a climb up the Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is home to ancient ruins and stunning frescoes. You'll also get to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a spice garden, and a batik factory at Matale. End your exciting day with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya, Dambulla, or Habarana.

Day 3 starts with a trip to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, which was once the capital of Sri Lanka. There, you'll see beautiful statues and ruins like the Lankatileke, Tivanka, and Thuparama shrines. You'll also visit a spice garden and a batik factory before heading to Kandy, the hill capital. Kandy is known for the annual Perahera festival and is a great place to experience the influence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. You'll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which holds a relic of the Buddha's tooth and is considered the country's most prized possession. Don't miss the cultural show! Get ready for a day full of beauty and relaxation! First stop, Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. With over 4000 species of plants, this place is a true paradise for nature lovers. Next up, it's off to Nuwara Eliya, also known as the 'Little England' of Sri Lanka. Here, you'll visit a tea estate and factory to see how this famous beverage is made. You might even feel like you're in the UK with all the English-style houses and stunning scenery. Enjoy some leisure time in the afternoon and end the day with dinner and a comfy stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

On day 5, after breakfast, you will leave for Yala where you will enjoy an exciting jeep safari in Yala National Park. Yala is a haven for wildlife, including indigenous and migrant species of birds, buffaloes, herds of wild elephants, pheasants, peafowl, and peacocks. You can also see flamingos, pelicans, spoonbills, cormorants, and various species of herons by the lagoons and salvers. Yala has it all! After your exciting safari, you will have dinner and spend the night at a hotel in Tissamaharama or Yala.

On day 6, you will leave Yala and head to Galle for a beach stay. On the way, you will do a city tour of Galle, a historically interesting town built on a premonitory rock in the south of the island. You can stroll around the lighthouse and harbor or visit the old town to see traditional lace makers and wood carvers. You'll have an opportunity to purchase some of the finest shell-craft souvenirs in the world. After the city tour, you'll be transferred to your preferred beach location to relax and enjoy the beautiful Sri Lankan coastline.
