Welcome to Day 01 of your Sri Lanka adventure with Ceylon Serenity Tours! After touching down in Colombo, you'll be greeted by our friendly representative who will show you the ropes. Get ready to explore the bustling city of Colombo with a city tour and shopping spree! From towering skyscrapers to old-world charm, Colombo has it all. See the 100-year-old clock tower and colonial buildings, shop for bargains at Pettah bazaar, visit Hindu and Buddhist temples, and admire stately homes of the affluent. End the day with a delicious dinner and a good night's rest at your hotel. Get ready for more fun tomorrow!
Get ready for an exciting day! After breakfast, you're off to Sigiriya, but first, a stop at the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. It's like a big family with over 65 elephants, including babies born through their breeding program. You can even watch them being fed and bathed - it's a unique experience you don't want to miss. Then, in the evening, you'll climb Sigiriya rock, also known as the "Fortress in the Sky." The palace and gardens on top will take your breath away, and you'll get to see ancient Sinhala paintings of damsels on the way up. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Sigiriya, Dambulla, or Habarana.
Day 3 of the adventure begins with a journey from Habarana to Kandy, with exciting stops en route. First, a visit to the fascinating Dambulla Cave Temple, followed by a trip to a spice garden where you can purchase spices and see plants like cinnamon and pepper up close. Then, a stop at a Batik factory where you can witness the creation of beautiful prints. In the evening, head to the famous Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, home to a sacred Buddha tooth that has been revered for centuries. And don't forget to enjoy a cultural show! Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.
Day 4 of your adventure starts with a delicious breakfast before a tour of the beautiful Kandy city. From the Upper Lake Drive and Market Square to the Arts and Crafts Centre, you'll see it all! Don't forget to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, with over 4000 species of flora and fauna, it's a nature lover's paradise. The city is steeped in Buddhist culture, so make sure to visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. After an exciting day, you'll be transferred to your preferred beach, where you can relax and soak up the sun.
